TRAINING AND CONSULTATION HELD FOR OFFICERS RESPONSIBLE FOR ECOLOGICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CRIMES
On 9 June 2026, the Ecological Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Coordination Council for Crime Prevention of Mongolia, organized a training and consultation for officers responsible for ecological and environmental crimes.
The professional capacity-building training was attended by 82 officers from police units of the capital city and provincial areas.
The event was held as a continuation of the joint meeting held for environmental inspectors, protection officers and ecological police officers, which was jointly organized by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, the Ecological Police Directorate and the Mongolian Rangers’ Federation.
The opening ceremony was attended by First Deputy Commissioner of the National Police Agency, Police Colonel Batbaatar Janchivdorj, as well as senior officials and officers from relevant units.
As part of the event, professional training sessions were held on evidence collection in environmental crime cases, reducing errors and shortcomings during investigations, and ensuring respect for human rights in law enforcement activities.
The training and consultation helped strengthen the knowledge and practical skills of the participating officers and supported more effective cooperation in preventing, detecting and investigating crimes and violations against the environment..
