“Meduuleg AI” Launches to Modernize Police Interview Transcriptions in Mongolia

A platform based on artificial intelligence, "Meduuleg AI," is now available. It helps law enforcement with faster, more precise transcriptions of interviews and statements. Chimege Systems, a Mongolian company that specializes in speech-to-text technology, developed it. Investigators already use the system during interviews. Those interviewed include suspects, victims, witnesses as well as others.
It automatically transcribes conversations during their occurrence. It also transcribes pre-recorded audio and video into text with correct grammar. The system can generate reports in 13 formats, which reduces time spent on paperwork.
Investigators use a secure login to select the report type and enter case information. They select the "Start" button for transcription. The artificial intelligence records the discussion and transcribes it, assessing speech tone and voice. After completion, the system saves the audio. The investigator can download the statement in PDF or Word format for the participant to sign.
This technique streamlines paperwork while also improving interview quality. Investigators might focus on communication rather than laborious note-taking. Investigations should be more accurate, productive, and structured. The entire criminal justice system should benefit.
This product from Chimege Systems advances the use of artificial intelligence to improve public safety. It modernizes law enforcement in Mongolia.
